Updates About .... Just about everything

Lets talk about changes in my life since mid july.

1) I now own in a home in Las Vegas Nevada (Near Silverado Ranch)

2) I had an absolutely spectacular september, for the first time earning >100k in a month

3) Since mid september I have been traveling, in Oct i played barely 20 hours and made 35kish

4) I am currently @ the South Point, waiting for my furniture so i can move into my home

5) Wobbly_AU has personally donated $55,000 to me.

My House and Car

So I have some new goals for life and poker.

Goasl for November

Life -

- Workout 6 days a week

- Begin to eat more healthy once im in my home

- Furnish Home

- Get my passport and figure out what sort of traveling I want to do early next year

Poker -

- Play NL 200 and NL 400 HU for a while

- Make $20k in November playing those limits

- Update the blog with a graph result everyday

- Work on tilt issues, and realizing when i need to quit in a session (important for hu imo)

Dedication and Future Direction

Over the past year or so, i have really struggled to find the dedication to really stick to a principle. I think this is most clearly evident from the posts in this blog, where i say im going to do X, and i dont ever really stick with it. I think the main issue is when you log into your account and see a lot of money in comparison to the stakes you are playing, it can really initiate some spewy plays (at least for me). The past few days have been especially terrible, i lost like 25k between sites/hu/6m/fr/plo etc etc, with some of those losses being absolutely spewtastic. I mean some of those sessions youd think 5k was play money the way i acted, which is pretty terrible and really not what poker is about.

So i have withdrawn down to basically nothing on stars and im planning on trying to work my way back up through the stake levels in plo. I cant truly withdraw all my funds from online, i need to have money on ftp for a few people i still back and whatnot, but stars plo is going to be my primary goal until i feel like i am playing well enough to reallocate funds to play with.

Interesting Day, lots of battling and breakeven

For the past day or so ive been playing hu and 6m, and had a few hu battles vs regs. Won about 1k overall but ran about 1k good in ev, so meh. That said i also had a 160ish bb deep KK vs AA at 2/4 playing hu, so i guess ill take it.

Might mix in some 24 tabling action on the full ring tables, but whenever i do play hu or 6m its going to be 4 or less tables.

Hey guys, long time no talk! Lets do a quick recap of the past few months.

April - Challenged AGx19 to a who could make more in fr in a month, i grinded all month, made about 15k and won the bet.

May - Grinded FR all month, made about 20k and made about 120k vpps in a month.

June - I have spent the majority of this month traveling around america, I have been to atlantic city, phili, chicago, seattle, sacramento, davis, san jose, las vegas and then back to Wilmington.

So today i just got in a long work out, got a hair cut, and decided im gonna try to 4 table six max nl 200 for a while, 4 tables max, work on my game, and try to get this 6 max business figured out. Ill post hands as i go along and show graphs and whatnot.

Ill also try to update the blog more.

Mindset/Running bad

Id say for the past couple months I have been running fairly badly, and i am ok with that. In fact, id say one of the things ive gotten the best at is learning to accept that running bad is part of the game and there really isnt much you can do.



But today, it got to a point where i just really couldnt take it any longer. I tilted somewhat and probably dropped more then i had to, but it honestly feels like this shit is getting ridiculous. I know that doesnt help, its a bad mindset, and will only cause you to play bad. Here are my past couple months.

So for now im gonna drop down, play a bit lower, and work on my game. Plenty of time. But i know i am not playing as good as i can be and i need to play the best i can.
