So an Update About Things

Thought id give my blog a serious update here for a bit.

First off, I recently joined Cardrunners. i have my first Video up, 4 tabling the quarter. Gotta start somewhere and I know a lot of people wanted to see a video on that, so there you go. Im hoping to get to work a lot more with Cardrunners and keep an eye out for future updates!

Second, I got into a bad car wreck recently. Let me get some pictures up.

The Car was totalled, as were other vehicles. Basically we were going about 75 in the far left lane, and there was an SUV coming up on our side going probably like 85. Well in front of the SUV there was a car going VERY slow, and so the SUV almost rearended him. Instead he swerved right, passed the car, then tried to correct himself and weaved back the other way on 2 wheels, and smashed into the front right of our car.

After the accident there was smoke in the car and we were in the middle of 93, I started yelling for everyone to get out fo the car. It was a 2 door car, so i couldnt get out until the driver did. Finally we got out of the car, and FIVE seconds later another car going full speed smashed into us. Talk about close.

Then a pickup truck smashed into both cars. Crazy night.

Everyone was ok, except someone in the original SUV was taken away in an ambulance. We were all ok though.

Anyway so yesterday my friend here and I met up with a couple of Australian members of the Full Ring Forum, Andrew and Rohan. They are 21 but we arent, so we went on a road trip to a casino called Morongo. I felt really bad for them because they were 21 anyway... and when we got there they had a 2/5 uncapped and a 1/3 max buyin 100 lol.

Basically i just missed a ton of hands, and ended up down 1000. Sweat. AKs is not the nuts preflop live btw, figured that out.

Was fun tho. Today im getting my shit together for my trip to raleigh and then europe, and then i head out tomorow to raleigh. Poker... Is boring and breakeven. I think when i get back I might try to do some sort of bankroll rebuilding thing where i start off with like 20 bi at .5/1 and every day update what my bankroll is at and how im doing, sort of like a quest back to midstakes sort of thing. I also might add an interesting flare to it, that i have to play a certain # of hands at each game type per day. Like 5000 FR hands, 2500 Six max Hands, and 500 hands HU or something. And i cant move up until ive won 20 bi at that level. So like some days i theoretically could be playing 1/2 FR, 2/4 six max, and .25/.50 hu if i do poorly haha. But it would be good to build my game as a whole, good to retool after a long break, and build back up from the ground. That said I also got a staking offer, so I may just play that. We will see.

Anyway thats whats going on with me. I had to reformat my computer recently, so no graphs. Just imagine 100k+ of breakeven, thats my past couple weeks.
